Not Just Pizza – A Way of Life
In 1976, a family of skilled bakers from Carini, Sicily opened their first restaurant in Hanover, Pennsylvania. Founder Salvatore Marciano swiftly expanded into Southern/Central Pennsylvania and Maryland, and christened his restaurants in honor of his wife’s family name, Genova.
Like that, Genova’s To Go Italian Restaurant began its journey to become the best Italian restaurant in two states.
Fresh Minds, Fresh Ingredients
Today, Genova’s is operated by a third generation of family chefs and artisans, led by a strict commitment to stay true to what our name is known for. Combining our products with this proud legacy ensures that customers will receive the best Italian restaurant flavors and service they have come to love.
That’s why Genova’s To Go’s gourmet Italian food items – such as our homemade lasagna – are crafted using the same recipes as the day we first opened for business. Our unique, delicious sub rolls are baked fresh daily, while our pizza dough is hand tossed to perfection with each and every order. Our team prides itself on our pizza and marinara sauces, made on site with low acidic, fresh tomato and basil flavors.
Come and see what we’ve been cooking up in the kitchen, and discover what the term “best Italian restaurant” should taste like.
